Dr. gary sprouse’s story
If you've ever felt overwhelmed by stress, worry, guilt, or regret, Dr. Gary Sprouse understands.
After practicing medicine for nearly four decades, he discovered that many of the people who came to him weren't just struggling with physical illness. They were carrying invisible burdens that affected every part of their lives. Stress was stealing their health, happiness, relationships, and peace of mind.
Dr. Sprouse knows this firsthand. Throughout his medical career, he faced many of the same pressures his patients did: lawsuits, regulatory scrutiny, administrative demands, insurance headaches, and the daily responsibility of caring for others. Like so many people, he had to learn how to navigate stress before it consumed him.
That journey inspired a new mission.
Today, Dr. Sprouse, known as The Less Stress Doc, helps people replace overwhelm with hope. Through humor, compassion, practical tools, and a fresh perspective, he teaches people how to reduce stress, worry less, let go of guilt and regret, and spend more time in what he calls their Happy Place.
His award-winning book, Highway to Your Happy Place: A Roadmap to Less Stress, has helped readers around the world discover simple strategies for building resilience and finding greater joy. He also collaborated with Jack Canfield, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and The Success Principles, on the Amazon best-selling book Mindset Matters.
As a speaker, Dr. Sprouse is known for engaging audiences with relatable stories, practical takeaways, and ideas they can begin using immediately. His presentations help people move beyond simply coping with stress to creating healthier, happier, and more fulfilling lives.
His newest work introduces the Stress Reducer Loop Model, a groundbreaking way of understanding why people become trapped in unhealthy habits and how they can break free without shame or labels.
Whether he's speaking to healthcare professionals, educators, caregivers, business leaders, recovery groups, or community organizations, Dr. Sprouse has one goal:
To help one million people have less stress and more joy.
Because life is too short to spend it anywhere but your Happy Place.
